Welcome to the Space Cookies Website

The Space Cookies are a FIRST Robotics team of girls from high schools across the Bay Area working in partnership with NASA Ames Research Center and the Girl Scouts of Northern California. All high school girls, freshman through seniors, are encouraged to join the team. Members participate in hands-on engineering, mechanical design, fabrication, electronics, programming, team leadership, marketing, graphic design, community outreach, and most importantly - FUN!

On Saturday and Sunday, May 18th-19th, the Space Cookies will be demoing their robot at Maker Faire! They will be speaking at 1pm on Sunday on Maker Ed.

On Saturday, May 11th, the Space Cookies demoed their robot at the Girl Scouts' Golden Gate Bridging!

On April 24-27, the Space Cookies went to National Championships in St. Louis!

On April 4th-6th, the Space Cookies participated in the Silicon Valley Regional! They were finalists.

On March 21st-23rd, the Space Cookies participated in the Sacramento Regional! They won the Chairman's Award and were finalists.

On March 8, 2013, the Space Cookies demoed their robot at Escondido Elementary School!

On January 12, 2013, two Space Cookies participated in the Tech Museum's "Meet the Makers" Robotics panel.

From hosting FLL tournaments to attending the Bay Area Science Festival and CalGames, the Space Cookies have been hard at work.
